Over at kevinnottingham.com there is a very nice list of famous hiphop tunes and where they got there sample from. Totally worth checking out as everything is sampled anyway, includes A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, 50 cents and many more. If you can´t find something, Check the Hip-Hop Sample Index!

Here is a baseline / synth-line i made a while ago for a song. Unfortunately i lost the rest of the sample and the song never got finished. If you got any ideas, post them here and we´ll finish the song collaboratively!
