Hi guys,

Allow me to introduce myself, I’m DJ UMB from the Generation Bass blog.

This is my first post for this great new and innovative blog/creative institution known as CRASHROOTS.

So I thought I’d start by uploading a link to mix I did a few weeks back called “STONED CUMBIA”.

The mix is made up entirely of Nu Cumbia music/mash up’s by my partner at Generation Bass, Sonido Del Principe aka Vince The Prince.

It takes material from his more reflective and atmospheric side and also includes some tunes from his forthcoming FREE album “La Naranja Mecanica”.

I hope you enjoy it and if you do, I’d be happy to upload some more mixes in due course.

Just so that you know, I record all my mixes on Pioneer CDJ 1000 MKII & a Pioneer DJM 600 Mixer.  Sadly, I’m not into software/laptop dj’ing options just yet.
