Here’s a Nu Cumbia mix I did about 9 months ago in February 2009, just thought it’d be great to give it a fresh airing somewhere.

Sorry I can’t remember the tracklist, save to say that it includes material from Discos Fuentes, ZZK Records, Bersa Discos and Sonido Del Principe.

Improvised & recorded in real time on Pioneer CDJ 1000 MKII & DJM 600 MIXER.

This is a teaser for a new multi-input looping system from Devine Machine, Cycler. Arash Khalatbari and Wise Washington performing using CYCLER, the new upcoming looping and remix system from Devine Machine. Flutes, jaw harp and percussion are recorded and mixed live. Devine has several more Cycler looping demos available at their blog. No specs or release date have been announced for Cycler. (via rekkerd)

Sound designer Diego Stocco (producer for Spectrasonics) creates dynamic and innovative music experiences. His music extensively uses unique sounds created specifically for each project through custom built instruments and techniques, allowing him to produce eclectic compositions with sounds never heard before. Diego recently posted a new musical piece, created on a tree. Read more here.

Finally finished my new Mash UP! This time take the four sections of crashroots: Latincontra, Babalao, Whorehousebeats and Orientrising. All converted into a single MASH UP! The mix of the Tracks “Colombiana” by Monopolar and “Snow” by Florian Andres is not very smooth, sorry about that! I like leaving little “mistakes” in the mix as it makes it more true to a club mix experience.

I’m a BIG BIG BIG fan of  Frank Zappa. Browsing on YouTube, specifically this version of Stairway To Heaven, I found! The first time I heard this version was because a friend of my mother gave me a CD compilation of Frank Zappa … the best gift of my life! My two favorite bands together on one song!

I left two very good videos of the same song.

The first is Zack Kim, a Japanese guitarist and the second is Vadrucci Andrea, an Italian drummer.

Ok! POGO found that now has more than one video on YouTube remixed several movies. Now made a remix of the original movie “Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory” Enjoy it !!!

I was reading an article about the new film by Tim Barton “Alice in Wonderland” and remember that once I saw a video remix of a film. This is a remix created by POGO. It is truly beautiful! Here is the link to the article on the Tim Burton movie.

There’s an old saying in Peru:  you either come from inga or from mandinga. Which means that even if you claim to be “white” there’s always a african drop of blood onto your system. We made this DJ set to prove ourselves that hopefully, we have millions of african cells despite of our pale faces.
