Latincontra - Calypsa (by Jin Yerei)

“Calypsa” is inspired by colombian cumbia, mainly by Andrés Landero, a great accordionist from Colombia dead some time ago. This mashup is kind of saying “thanks” for his wonderful and moody music. The track I used is: Andrés Landero - Vírgen de la Candelaria. Download it, mash it up or create something completely new and share it with the crashroots community. Tag all your contributions to this collaboration series with “latincontra”.

This is a beautiful track. I think it’s not just a sample on top of a beat, it develops a musical dramatic structure that gets to a real touching point. Love this tune, congrats! will play it a lot when djing.
cheers from mexico, travelling to colombia soon
